What a treat! Cute and fun yéyé girls from then and now, and a guy to tie, er, twist it up in the end. Podcast No. 19 has six groovy numbers ready to go. Chantal Goya is not sure about a guy, while Camille is very sure about him. Fabienne Delsol does France Gall her way and Jocelyne hums along merrily. Near the end, things go live with Vanessa Paradis and our man Richard Anthony twists his way out of girl trouble.
Chantal Goya – Tu m’as trop menti
Camille – Opération charme
Fabienne Delsol – Laisse tomber les filles
Jocelyne – La la la la la
Vanessa Paradis – Les Cactus
Richard Anthony – J’irai twister le blues

Today, I say thanks to Abdim Okanovic from the US and Daisung Jang from Australia for their brillant donations!
Yesterday, I went to the biggest collector’s fair in Europe, which just happens to be in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The amount of vinyl is astonishing. There were stands from all over Europe and even some from Mexico and Canada. I drooled on a few records that were way too expensive, but scored some great hits by Les Sunlights, Sasha Distel, Lucky Blondo and Richard Anthony. Now to find these on CD for you to enjoy!
A big thank you to Daniel Hobbs from the US for his recent donation! Again, any money collected will be used with the sole purpose of paying for hosting (server and bandwidth). We will be moving the stream some time this month, but I’ll post about before it happens. The goal is to lower costs and be able to accommodate more fans.
Let me see…. what else… T-shirts are coming up (black with men’s and women’s styles), more music of course and if the Gods of retro allow it, the very first Radio Oh la la party in Amsterdam.
