So to all the sceptics here in the Netherlands I&#8217;ve encountered over the years: it is possible to play an entire evening of French music far from the French border, make people dance, hold a twist contest, have a Dutch person announce everything in French and have people wonder about next time!<\/p>\n<p>New music on <strong>Radio Oh La La<\/strong> includes Quebecois 60s groups <strong>Les Habits Jaunes<\/strong> and <strong>Les Hou-lops<\/strong>, Paris poppies <strong>Christine Pilzer<\/strong> and <strong>Elsa<\/strong>, and some hammond organ hits from <strong>Francis Lai.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Photo: Yuri)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The French night at the Amsterdam Beat Club was a smashing success thanks to some very dedicated and talented individuals who know how to put on a great show.
