On 30 April (Queen’s Day, the Dutch national holiday), it’s time to get French, fresh and funky at Café Noorderlicht, Amsterdam.

Forget the huge, overcrowded centre of Amsterdam, come and chill on the water with some excellent food and drinks and party with us all night long!

West Hell Five cranked out super instrumental music by Serge Gainsbourg, the DJ went all sixties with soul and the VJ’s super Scopitones made the evening a class act. And some odd folk, dressed from another era got everybody’s attention!

I had a great time, saw people dance and look forward to doing it again soon! Thanks Amsterdam Beat Club!

On 11 July, one of the major dance events of the year, Dance Valley will be featuring more stages full of top DJs than you can possibly imagine. This year’s edition, the 15th anniversary, will include a two-hour set by yours truly, DJ Natashka, in this converted Piaggio Ape 50 called The Superfly, owned by Jasper of Café Noorderlicht in Amsterdam. I get to spin from 3 pm to 5 pm.
