It was a Red Hot Riviera party, complete with French techno, sixties and much humour, live mixes by Minimatic, the antics of DJ Duo Studio 17, some jerk and jazz by me, DJ Natashka, complimentary ice lollies, happy people, new faces, pink champagne and an after party that lasted until the sun came up.

On Friday, 14 June, DJ Natashka (aka yours truly) will be spinning French dinner jazz at the Noorderlicht Café in Amsterdam from 7 pm until about 10 pm. The food is really nice and you can watch the sun set over the water, as shown in this snapshot I took the very first time I was there.

On Friday, 13 June, DJ Guuzbourg will be spinning French favourites at the Circus Treurdier Festival, Studio K in Amsterdam from midnight until 1:30 am. There will also be theatre and bands at the festival, and inevitably football with France playing Oranje (The Dutch) on a big screen.

Either way it’s going to be a French fest!
